Captain Chuck Blocker has spent his entire life living, working, and fishing along the St. Johns River. With decades of experience—including fishing Rodman Reservoir since it was first created—Chuck brings unmatched knowledge of North Florida waters to every trip. An active local tournament angler since 1981, he’s passionate about sharing his love of fishing with others and takes pride in teaching the art of angling to beginners and seasoned anglers alike.

Chuck currently guides for two Class I railroads—CSX and Norfolk Southern—offering safe, professional trips tailored to each guest. His Christian-based guide service is fully family-oriented, emphasizing patience, kindness, and encouragement. While he can’t promise the fish will bite, he guarantees a fun, positive experience on the water—without criticism, pressure, or raised voices.

Captain Oliver Custead is a lifelong resident of Putnam County, Florida, with deep roots in the local community and a lifelong passion for bass fishing. He proudly served 32 years in law enforcement and completed 32 years in the Florida National Guard, retiring with the rank of Colonel.

With decades of experience fishing throughout Florida and the southeastern United States, Captain Custead has a deep knowledge of the region’s waterways. His passion for the sport inspired him to start a bass fishing club at a local Christian school, where he continues to mentor young fishermen and share his enthusiasm for the outdoors. Oliver currently guides for the Class I railroad lodge Norfolk Southern.

Whether guiding first-timers or experienced anglers, Captain Custead is committed to providing a relaxed, enjoyable experience on the water. While he doesn’t promise a trophy bass, he does promise a great day of fishing—and he promises he won’t yell at you.
